We are just writing to say that our experience with the painter Toby, and his team, at our house being built in Willetton, has been outstanding.We currently live within walking distance of our new build, so have visited nearly every day that any tradespeople have been on site. We have spoken with Toby on numerous occasions and have found him to be thorough, hard-working and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for Toby and his patience with us, first-time 'mature' home builders, has been a credit to him and to the company, Discovery Painting. If all tradespeople were as capable and conscientious as Toby and his team, all buildings in WA would be brilliant!

We wanted to take the time to write to you, as so often we hear the negative feedback given to tradespeople, because Toby has stood out amongst the many excellent trades we have had on-site, as someone who really cares about our new home painting. 

We receive our keys next Monday, knowing that Toby and his team have worked tirelessly to ensure that every minor error has been rectified.

I just wanted to let you know Toby and his team completed our repaint yesterday. Thank you so much for sending Toby - himself and his team were fantastic. Efficient yet thorough and you can’t even tell they were here, everything was tidied up and left how it should be after.

 

Toby also went out of his way to point out a few gaps from the settlement between the floors and the walls and was kind enough to fill these for us and give that final finishing touch to the professional job that he did.

His staff were lovely and respectful, all were on time and had all the tools they required to complete the job to such a high standard.

 

I’d just like to note Toby also walked me through each room after completion to make sure I was satisfied before finishing for the day and tried his best to remove the excessive amount of paint on floors, shower screens, furniture and door frames that the other painters left behind. They did a fantastic job and I really appreciate the extra mile they went for us.

He was the only one to come and provide an onsite quote,  was reasonably priced, offered great advice, was punctual and provided a professional service. Plus he’s a lovely fellow. From the start of the project, it was going to be a very tight schedule to work to, and with everyone’s commitment, input and willingness to help out, we have been able to achieve not only our target date but bring it in ahead of time.

We have been able to deliver an exceptional home, in a remarkable time frame, with everyone working together to make sure it was achieved. ” Toby from Discovery painting came by our place on Mon 6th August and provided touch-ups on our paintwork. He provided an excellent service and his enthusiasm and passion for his work was clear. After we had carpets installed in Bed 3 and Bed 4, the walls needed touching up and Toby graciously did these without charging extra.

I saw that he was proactive in finding areas to touch up without me having to point out every single mark. He even filled the nail holes in our cabinetry and shelving even though they weren’t part of his job. Toby just wants his customers to have the best as he would want for himself – this sort of value is such a rare find these days.
